Hello Folks:

Ever since Biology and Medical school , I had a keen interest on genetics and developmental biology. As an intern, I was lucky to participate on research on the placenta. We studied superoxide dismutase levels in placental tissue. This enzyme was presumed to be important in development and aging. I have since tried to keep up with the latest information and studies in this emerging field.

This website is an attempt to organize a multimedia library for and from a physician perspective. This is my small way of sharing and sorting the explosion of information regarding stem cell biology and therapy. I have not included a page on Ethics because it is a complicated debate .

Bear in mind, we are still at the information-gathering stage. The era when factual knowledge and clinical trials of the highest standards are years away. Furthermore, we are trying to tie in the intricacies of genetics, growth factors and nanotechnology. So have fun with the ride folks, while I walk this dog.
